Atlanta, GA (March 2, 2009) - Piedmont Natural Gas licenses the PowerPlant project, asset, and tax suite

Piedmont Natural Gas provides gas service to over one million customers in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.  Other subsidairies include interstate natural gas storage, intrastate gas transportation, and retail gas marketing. 

PowerPlant will be integrated with the PeopleSoft general ledger and replace PeopleSoft project and asset processing.  PowerPlant modules include Charge Repository, Projects and CWIP, Assets, Property Tax, PowerTax, and Provision
